Martin Luther King, Jr. and Millbrooke Win District Governors Cup; Winners Set to Compete at Regionals in March

 

On Saturday, February 11, academic teams across the district competed in the Kentucky Association for Academic Competition (KAAC) Governor’s Cup Competition. Congratulations to Governor Cup winners Martin Luther King, Jr. Elementary School (District 19) and Millbrooke Elementary School (District 18). See pictures *attached.

 

 

Participating schools are divided into 3 districts by KAAC for competition (see below). Schools, along with individual students (with qualifying scores), will advance to the regional competition scheduled in March. o   District 17 (Hosted by Sinking Fork): Crofton, Freedom, Sinking Fork and University Heights Academy

o   District 18 (Hosted by Millbrooke): Heritage Christian Academy, Indian Hills, Millbrooke, and South Christian Elementary

o   District 19 (Hosted by MLK, Jr.): Martin Luther King, Jr., Pembroke, and South Todd Elementary
